Sharp TU-TV322H failing to make planned recordings

Programmes selected from TV Guide for recording following instructions from operation manual. When set for some hours in advance machine has not recorded and in the Message folder in the Main Menu a message is posted detailing the title of the programme selected together with date and time stating that the system has failed to record. Also shows a number last time #00229 Have had the machine for about four months now and it has failed to record on about 10 -15 occasions. Other times is works ok. I had this problem aswell! I tried everything but ended up phoneing the help line, when they asked for what frequancies they found out i was picking up different ones form two different stations. I took the ariel out of the back on the freeview box and run a scan for channels (of course it came up with none as the ariel is unpluged but it overwirites and clears the incorect frequencies). Then plug the areil back into the freeview box and run a scan for channels. After doing this i picked up the correct frequencines form the correct station and my recordings actually recorded! If you phone the help line (08444159159) they will tell you what frequencies you should be picking up. I hope this qorkes for you!
