Sounds like you have a capacitor that is going bad, if not already burst. They sometimes can make sounds as well when going bad. The new flat screen TVs are prone to capacitors going bad as well. So, take off your back panel and find out which capacitor is bulging/busted and replace (if you are comfortable with your soldering skills).
